Where do I collect and drop off the motorhome?

Our handovers are carried out at either our base in Witton le Wear. We can arrange for you to be picked up from Darlington train station and even local airports by previous arrangement. Just give us a call to discuss. If you are coming by car, your vehicle can be left at our Darlington base which is monitored by 24hr CCTV. Note, we will need your car keys in case we need to move the vehicle.

Collection of the motorhome is between 2.30pm and 5.00pm. Please allow approximately one hour for a detailed handover. The motorhome is to be returned before 11.00am on your final day. This is to ensure we have enough time to prepare the vehicle for our next customer. We are able to be flexible with the times if the motorhome is not booked out before or after. We can confirm this with you prior to your booking.

Is the Adria Coral easy to drive?

The motorhome has front and rear parking sensors, power steering, a reverse camera and a factory upgraded 150bhp engine. It is surprisingly easy to manoeuvre. If you’re at all unsure, just give us a call. We can arrange for a free no obligation test drive where possible. There is an independent review of our motorhome here and a video about driving motorhomes in general here

Do I need a special licence to drive the motorhome?

No. As long as you're aged between 25-75 years old and hold a full clean licence, you will be allowed to drive the motorhome. If you're over 75, just give us a call and we'll see how we can help.

Do child seats fit in the motorhome?

Yes, in total there are five 3-point harness seatbelts and we opted to have two ISOFIX points added by the  manufacturer on the production line.

Do you charge for an extra driver?

No. We allow two named drivers free of charge. You can add more drivers, just call us first to discuss.

Where can I park overnight?

Your motorhome can be parked in any legally permitted space.  This can be on a single yellow line in a town, in a lay-by in the countryside or in a more structured holiday environment like one of the many campsites throughout the UK. Here's a good link for more info: www.ukmotorhomes.net/motorhome-faqs/11-can-i-sleep-in-my-camper

There are also a large number of pubs and restaurants across the country with parking facilities who welcome motorhomes.

Trek Motorhomes are members of Brit Stops which offer overnight parking accommodation in more than 750 locations throughout UK and Ireland and your motorhome comes with the Brit Stops guide book.

As part of the Camping and Caravanning Club’s Privilege Scheme you have access to over 110 participating campsites, at discounted rates, throughout the duration of your hire period.

How many people can your Adria Motorhome accommodate?

Ultimately the Coral is equipped to sleep 6 people. There is a fixed double (transverse) bed at the rear and a double bed at the front. The dining area can also be transformed in to a double bed. We feel that the motorhome is perfect for 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids. This means that the living area is constantly useable.

Please note that although this is a 6 berth motor home, there are only 5 seatbelts and as such it can only carry 5 passengers in total

Can I add Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) to my insurance?

Yes, however we advise you to buy it direct from Questor Insurance (www.questor-insurance.co.uk) who can provide a competitive quote.

Can I take the motorhome to Europe?

We don't say no, just give us a call to discuss first. We make a small additional charge and need prior notification for insurance purposes.

Can I take the motorhome to music festivals?

No. Sorry, we hope you'd look after it, but it's just too good a motorhome to risk being trashed by other revellers.

What sort of mpg can I expect?

The Fiat Ducato engine is notoriously frugal, meaning, even with a full load, if driven well, you can expect to return an average mpg of 30mpg.

Can I take pets?

No, sorry, no pets allowed in the motorhome
